HPE Gen10 Takes Rugged Servers to the Next Level

With an increase in security risks affecting companies big and small, the release of HPE Gen10 couldn’t have come at a more critical time. Cybersecurity has become paramount in order to maintain trust with customers and avoid timely and stressful setbacks. The release of Gen10 features the most secure industry standard servers with unmatched threat protection through hardware root of trust, extensive standards compliance, and supply chain attack detention.

The new HPE Gen10 servers will be ruggedized by Core Systems and feature a 71% boost in performance compared to its predecessor Gen9. Along with the boost in performance, the Gen10 update by HPE also delivers a 27% increase in core thanks to the new Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. These processors are “workload-optimized” with advanced features designed into the silicon of the processor. The new Intel Xeon Scalable processors are available in four configurations, Platinum (up to 28 CPU cores), Gold (up to 22 CPU cores), Silver (up to 12 cores), or Bronze (up to 8 CPU cores).

Unveiled in June of 2017, Gen10 is considered a major upgrade to the award-winning ProLiant line. HPE sees this as a game-changer for all types of businesses and will improve their already powerful server line.
