Core Systems Earns IAS Certificate of Accreditation

IAS Military Computing

Core Systems Incorporated, a leading global provider of rugged computer solutions, is proud to announce that its Environmental Test Lab has met the requirements of AC89, IAS Criteria for Testing Laboratories, and has demonstrated compliance with ISO/IEC Standard 17025:2005.

Among the requirements to become accredited by IAS were providing testing services to Core Systems’ own products and products of external organizations. As the testing lab located in Poway, California has grown for Core Systems, so have their services. Core Systems is proud to provide proven testing solutions for a variety of different marketplaces.

Core Systems also demonstrated their compliance with ISO/IEC Standard 17025 requirements and the IAS Rules of Procedure for Laboratory Accreditation. Their environmental test labs feature the most dedicated and experienced technicians in the industry which shows in their reliable testing solutions for military and industrial needs.

“The certificate of accreditation given to us from the International Accreditation Service is yet another milestone in our development of the most reliable environmental testing lab in the nation.”

Chris Schaffner, President of Core Systems

The accreditation by IAS is recognized internationally as a “stamp of approval” for the industry and its regulators. As stated on the IAS website, “accreditation increases the recognition of acceptance of test reports across borders.

Testing Laboratories accredited by IAS benefit from IAS’s recognition as a signatory to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) with the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). The MRA supports international trade by promoting confidence and acceptance of accredited testing reports.”
