Saildrone Partnership Announced by Core Systems and Lockheed Martin
POWAY, California, Feb. 25, 2026 — Core Systems and Lockheed Martin announced today a strategic partnership to deploy the Core Systems ATMOS2 platform in support of the Saildrone Project, advancing autonomous maritime operations and real-time data analysis capabilities.
The partnership unites Core Systems’ ATMOS2 data integration and analytics platform with Lockheed Martin’s mission systems expertise to support the Saildrone Project’s operational objectives. The collaboration is focused on improving maritime domain awareness, strengthening ocean surveillance and accelerating operational decision-making for defense and research missions.

Under the agreement, ATMOS2 will support the processing and management of sensor data gathered through Saildrone operations. The system will assist in applications including maritime surveillance, environmental data collection and threat detection.
